Check out some of the better independent video game websites on the internet
shown on this page. BlueStorm does not assume any liabillity for the content

Multi-platform Video Game Sites
Game Revolution - While I believe
that some game companies have used their reviews to promote their games, GR is
not quite as large or extravagant as the major video game sites. In fact, I think
they've had the same look for a few years now. But they do have some great content,
and a good number of reviews to thumb through.
GameFAQs - If you're ever stuck in a game
and need some help without buying a strategy guide or calling a pricey phone number,
this is the place to go. Thousands of walkthroughs, FAQs, codes, strategy guides,
move lists and even glitch guides. If you're stuck in a game, this is the first
place to go. I also visit the GC message board section quite often here under
the name BurnoutCrasher.
Video Games 101 - Formally known
as "Game Grandpas", this site is ran by one person, and is dedicated to game
systems of the past and present. Contains a large number of reviews, and quite
a few features and original artwork. Well worth checking out.
Into Liquid Sky - Although this site
doesn't have nearly as many reviews as other sites, it's made up in other content
found on the site as well as a sharp design.
Videolamer - Multiplatform videogame review site that also has some entertaining articles and editorials.
Video Game Ed - A new site with some good design that offers information on game consoles, Tomb Raider, video game icons and more.
Nintendo Only Sites
Gamecube Advanced - Recently redesigned
their website to a more pleasing look, GC Advanced is the Nintendo only game site
with a strange title (yeah, like mine doesn't?). Covering both Gamecube and Gameboy
Advance systems, as well as future Nintendo endeavours. Great number of reviews
and some great content.
Nintendojo - These guys have been around
for quite some time, and they are not showing signs of bowing down anytime soon.
Nintendojo has also recently redesigned their website to keep up everyone else.
They have a great number of reviews, and also have some content worth reading.
Nintendophiles - Their web adress is
a little tough to remember at first (n-philes.com), but they do have a great number
of reviews to read. Covers both GC and GBA systems.
Cube Europe - A nicely designed site
with some great content as well as up to date on news content. Although this is a site based from
Europe, most games reviewed here are also available in the United States.
Xbox Only Sites
Team Xbox - A large and well designed
independent Xbox-only site with a large number of reviews and content, as well
as previews and interviews.
Sony Only Sites
PSX Nation - Quite possibly one of the
best sites to go to for Playstation only content. While they stick mostly to reviews,
there are previews, as well as reviews of DVD movies. A huge selection of reviews
to choose from.

Special Interest Video Game Sites
DC Emulation - A site that is sitll
keeping the Dreamcast alive and well. This is the place to go for many types
of emulators for the Dreamcast system, as well as a big handful of originally
developed homebrew games to run on the DC system. Be sure to read all the information
on how everything works before you get involved, or you'll end up with a bunch of
usless CD-R discs like when I first started downloading stuff from here. It's a cool
site, and can become pretty addictive. SUGGESTED MATERIALS FOR THIS SITE: CD BURNER,
CD-R DISCS, DREAMCAST SYSTEM.
**NOTE** BLUESTORM DOES NOT CONDONE SOFTWARE PIRACY. THE LINK PROVIDED TO DCEMULATION.COM
IS FOR THE HOMEBREW EFFORTS PROVIDED FROM MEMEBERS THAT KEEP THE SYSTEM ALIVE. EVEN
THOUGH THERE ARE VIDEO GAME EMULATORS PROVIDED, BLUESTORM DO NOT CONDONE
THE DOWNLOAD AND USE OF ROMS, AND WE (I) WILL NOT LINK TO IT. FOR MORE INFORMATION
ON WHAT YOU CAN AND CAN'T DO, CHECK OUT THE INFORMATION ON THE SITE.
Cheap Ass Gamer - Like video games,
but hate paying full price? This is the site to go to save some money on the
games you want or never knew you wanted. Just be sure to jump on a posted deal
quick, because some games go fast. Also has valuable coupon codes for EBgames.com
from time to time. I also post on the message boards often at this site
under the name BlueStorm781.
VG Music - Do you have a favorite song
from a videogame of the past (and some present)? Here's the site for you! Thousands
of classic videogame songs and melodies available to download in MIDI format. If
you've never been here before, you may find yourself spending hours going through
all the music. Just remember to pace yourself.
OverClocked Remix - This site is home to hundreds
of remixed video game songs of past and present. These aren't just MIDI rendidtions
of songs, some are full on re-creations of classic game music that sound just like
techno you would hear somewhere else. All files are in MP3 format, and all are free
to download.
GameScreenshots.com - "More images
than a porn site!" is what GSS claims, and it's hard not to agree. You can find a
good number of screenshots for many games across many consoles.

Something Awful - Destroying
the internet, one page at a time. Something Awful is a take-no-prisoners website
full of brash and irrevrent humor. There's a lot of adult language and content in this site,
and I only recommend people of adult age to this site (it's the equivalent of an
R-rated movie). But it's funny as hell sometimes, especially in the Photoshop
Phriday section. And they do have some game-related content and parody. If you
have a sick sense of humor, SA is right for you. Mature Audiences Only.
